OAR Physician Assistants, PA-C, practice under the direct supervision of our physicians. They are trained to examine patients, diagnose injuries, provide treatment, order laboratory tests and x-rays and prescribe medications. all PA-C’s are nationally certified and state licensed medical professionals, and are members of local and national professional societies.
Thomas Morton, PA-C
Tom started his education at Penn State University, Main Campus, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. He continued his education at Salus University where he graduated with a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies. He began his career at OAR, where his focus has been in joint replacement. Tom works closely with Dr. Slotkin.
Kevin Massey, PA-C
Kevin obtained his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Bloomsburg University. After his studies, he worked as an Exercise Physiologist in physical therapy before entering into PA school. He earned his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. His focus has been in orthopaedic trauma, sports medicine, and joint replacement.
Kristen (Goshert) Bloom, PA-C
Kristen is a board certified physician assistant licensed to practice orthopedics in the state of Pennsylvania. She attended a 5 year physician assistant program where she received her bachelors degree in Health Sciences from Philadelphia University and her masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Jefferson University. Her interests include orthopedic trauma, general orthopedics, and joint replacement. She works closely with Dr. Michels and Dr. Stapinski
Alexis Barby, PA-C
Alexis Barby is board certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants to practice orthopedics in Pennsylvania. She went to Philadelphia University’s 5 year PA program where she received her bachelors in health sciences and masters is physician assistant studies. Alexis is a member of the American Association of Physician Assistants (AAPA). She enjoys general orthopedics, sports medicine, and hand.
Karli Phillips, PA-C
Karli attended an accelerated 5-year Physician Assistant program. She began her studies at Philadelphia University, where she received a bachelors degree in Health Sciences. Karli then continued her education at Thomas Jefferson – East Falls Campus, where she earned her masters of Physician Assistant Studies. Although Karli is trained to see patients in all areas of orthopaedic care, she enjoys the complexities of upper extremity injuries as well as assisting in the operating room.
Lindsey Murphy, PA-C
Lindsey received her bachelor’s degree in health science from Philadelphia University, she received her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Thomas Jefferson University- East Falls. She is a certified physician assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed by the State Board of Medicine of Pennsylvania. Lindsey is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Her interests include diagnosis and treatment of both acute and chronic hip and knee pain, as well as joint replacement surgery of the hip and knee and orthopaedic trauma.
Alexandra Hartz, PA-C
Alexandra Hartz is a NCCPA certified Physician Assistant, specializing in acute and sports related injuries. She graduated with honors from Lock Haven University with a bachelor’s degree in health science, and later attended Mercyhurst University obtaining a master’s degree in physician assistant studies. Alexandra takes care of patients of all ages in OAR’s Urgent Care setting.
Samantha Close, PA-C
Samantha is a board-certified Physician Assistant who is licensed to practice orthopaedics in the state of Pennsylvania. She attended Ursinus College where she received her Bachelor’s of Science in Health and Exercise Physiology. She then went on to receive her Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies from Thomas Jefferson University. Samantha works in our Urgent care setting specializing in acute and sports related injuries in patients of all ages.
Michael Sidari, PA-C
Michael Sidari is a graduate of St. Joseph’s University where he received his bachelor’s degree in biology. He then obtained his master’s of medical science in physician assistant studies at University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Some of his clinical interests are hand surgery, fracture care, and total joint surgery.
Dana Riback, PA-C
Dana is a board-certified Physician Assistant who is licensed to practice orthopaedics in the state of Pennsylvania. She graduated from Hobart and William Smith Colleges as a member of Phi Beta Kappa, where she received her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. She then graduated with honors from Salus University, obtaining a Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies. Dana is a member of the American Association of Physician Assistants (AAPA). She enjoys treating general orthopaedics, sports injuries and assisting in total joint replacements.
Laura Peterson, PA-C
Laura is a board-certified Physician Assistant who is licensed to practice orthopedics in the state of Pennsylvania. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise Science from Wake Forest University. Laura then returned to Wake Forest University School of Medicine and earned her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Her clinical interests include general orthopedics, upper extremity injuries, and orthopedic trauma.
